Metrowealth Movies Production is a brand name in the Malaysian film industry. It kicked off with its maiden film entitled 'Syukur 21' in the year 2000. This film won the Jury Award at the 14th Malaysian Film Festival for its best visual effects. Since then, there is turning back for MMP in making more films for the local moviegoers.

Year 2004, MMP once again with Jury Award for box-office film for 'Cinta Kolestrol' (which collected RM 3.8 million) at the 17th Malaysian Film Festival. Since the production of 'Mami Jarum', MMP has kept producing films that did well at the box-office. MMP's intention is to produce international standard movies outside of Malaysia and hope to achieve successes in international recognation such as Buena Vista, United Pictures, Colombia Pictures. MMP will keep on pursuing its dream to one day MMP will produce a film that will receive a nomination at the Academy Awards.
