MIG
is a well known recording company in Malaysia. Under its
banner it has well known and talented artistes such as:
Maya Karin and Waheeda, Farid Kamil, Giegiel, Khir Rahman,
Yana, Noriesya, Pieree, Tasya, and Siau Lynn.MIG
Records may be new in the industry but it has proven that
it is a label that gives the best. Waheeda, with her husky
voice, won an award in the prestigious singing competition
'Juara Lagu 2003'. The award is under the ethnic creative
category and her song 'Wassini' (which means 'Advise Me')
later became a local favorite and it topped the charts for
weeks in many radio stations.
Another
story that mirrors the success of MIG in local music scene
is the emergence of its rock group Gigiel. 'Mencari' is
a wonderful song recorded alongside Waheeda. This song captured
the hearts of many fans because of its beautiful shooting
lyrics and its catchy modern rock melody.
We
